  • Howard, I wanted to again compliment you on continuing to take the time to keep me in mind and stay in touch. In my recent experience this is rare among recruiters I am sorry to say; my return rate, I reckon, is running at about 60% and this is quite disappointing for an industry that works in a close HR relationship environment.  Alas, the industry has become all too transactional and like any industry the most successful operators always keep customer service top of mind and at the fore.  In the recruitment industry case, many recruiters seem to forget they have two levels of customer and both are required in order for existence.  In my mind at least, you are clearly in the highest CS percentile…so well done to you and as representative for Agricultural Appointments. Keep doing what you are doing!

    Daryl
  • We were new to farming and the farm required stock, equipment and pasture management, we needed an experienced dedicated manager. I am delighted to say that the search process and appointment exceeded our expectations as our manager has developed the property faster than planned and set us up to expand already.

    David Murray, Lyndcote Holding
  • I’ve found the agricultural recruitment industry fairly underwhelming in the past and its a very welcome surprise to find someone who knows what they’re doing and goes about it in such a timely manner. Keep up the good work!

    Rob
  • I am living “the dream” in the Cayman Islands with many thanks to you good folks! The Cayman Brac Goat Farm T/A Bluff Farms has exceeded my expectations. Finally, a capstone on a long and arduous journey….some folks call it a “career”.

    Brian
  • We found Agricultural Appointments to be very professional in all aspects of the recruitment process.  They kept us up to date with the process, the candidate reports were informative and comprehensive, and  they managed the interview day in a very professional manner.

We would have no hesitation in using Agricultural Appointments again, it was a very positive and enjoyable experience and we are delighted with the outcome.

Marisa Mitchell, Craiglea Pastoral Pty Ltd
  • “Ray, your detailed summary of their candidature, in-depth knowledge of their goals and aspirations, and also being mindful of our own brand when rejecting candidates was really appreciated. You’re a rare breed out there in recruitment land!”

    Sandra Cittadini, SunRice
  • “Brett was very methodical in understanding the requirement and then pursuing the right course”.

Ray Leach, Free Range Egg Farms
  • “The team at AA will do their best to gauge your career goals and personality criteria to assist you with finding the perfect fit for a career”.

Jeremy Offen, Total Foodtec Pty Ltd
  • “Agricultural Appointments helped me to take a big leap in my career, the biggest to date. Working with Richard helped me to have the confidence that I was making the right choice both for the immediate future and for the long term development of my career”.

    Stuart Paine, Dick Smith Foods
  • “In an international industry often only separated by 3 degrees, Richard and the team intrinsically understand the interrelated nature of the wine industry and are able to draw upon their vast network of similarly committed key personnel, to approach and reveal first class opportunities for candidates and clients alike. Wherever my career may take me, Richard and the Agricultural Appointments team will always be my first call in taking the next step with a candidate or in my own career.”

    Warren Hammond, Ballande Groupe Australasia
  • “Our business has worked with Agricultural Appointments to fill several key technical sales and laboratory positions over a number of years. The professional manner in which they seek to understand the role and go about finding the person which ideally fits into our business has been highly successful”.

Christine Giuliano, Managing Director at KF Specialty Ingredients
  • “The process used by Agricultural Appointments was comprehensive and completely thorough…in our opinion the project was handled with complete professionalism and we will use the services of Agricultural Appointments again in the future should the occasion arise.”

Robert E Marsh, Agricultural Investments Australia Pty Ltd
