Howard grew up on a 1,400 acre property in Gippsland, where they predominately raised Murry Grey cattle. His family has a love of flying, so at the age of 18 Howard gained his private pilot’s licence. Although being a commercial pilot like his brother was tempting, he chose to follow his passion and do a diploma in hospitality instead. His career has been broad, encompassing owning his first business (restaurant) at the age of 23 and second at 25; managing the soft services (catering & cleaning) for offshore platforms in Bass Strait Vic; managing 60 recruitment consultants across 5 sites nationally; opening/operating large mining sites in remote WA; initiating the acquisition of a soft services company in Indonesia for an international company; owning and operating his own catering company with 23 sites nationally and being the Sales & Marketing Manager for a large national wholesale fruit & vegetable supplier. Now with Agricultural Appointments for the last two years he takes great pleasure in filling difficult to fill roles with outstanding candidates, where both the client and candidate are delighted with the outcome. Having achieved many milestones in his career, Howard is keen to assist others in attaining their goals and ambitions. In his downtime he enjoys spending time outdoors landscape gardening, being with family and travelling.
